The hunt to trace a man and a woman is under way after counterfeit notes were used at a town centre business.
Shoppers and business staff are being urged to remain vigilant after two counterfeit Scottish £20 notes were handed over by a man and woman in Lowestoft.
Police have issued the warning after the counterfeit notes were used at a business premises in Lowestoft last Friday morning.
Two counterfeit Scottish £20 notes were handed over by a man and woman as a business on London Road North, Lowestoft was targeted at around 10am on September 13.
Police said the man is described as white, with short dark hair.
He was wearing a dark hooded top with the hood up and jeans.
The woman is white, around 5ft 5in tall, with shoulder length brown hair. She was wearing denim shorts.
"Can you help?" a police spokesman said.
