A large fire broke out at an airfield in Suffolk.
Five appliances from Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service and Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service was called to the blaze at Eye Airfield on Sunday evening.
A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said they received reports of a fire in a Suffolk Highways depot at Broome Industrial Estate on the former Eye airfield off the A140 at about 6.30pm.
On arrival the building was found to be well alight, with two roads maintenance vehicles and assorted equipment inside.
Thick black smoke was seen as a result of the blaze.
As a precaution those living in the area were advised to keep their doors and windows closed.
Nobody was injured as a result of the blaze and a fire investigation will take place this morning.
