A three-day festival showing new and classic horror movies is returning to a Suffolk town. 

Dead and SudBuried will take place at the Quay Theatre in Sudbury from Friday, October 4 until Sunday, October 6. 

It has a packed schedule featuring nine new feature films, nine classic movies and 18 new horror shorts. 

The opening night special movie is Members Club, a horror-comedy filmed in nearby Essex starring Dean Kilbey from Top Boy and Boiling Point alongside Liam Noble from Peep Show and Bridgeton. 

Singer Peter Andre also makes a guest appearance in the film.

The classic horror movies were selected through online voting over social media and includes the 1978 version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, slasher sequel Halloween III, the Jaws-inspired flick Piranha and suspense thriller Dress to Kill.

In addition to the movies there will be horror memorabilia on sale, food trucks, a full bar and other surprises planned throughout the weekend.

"We are so lucky to have an event of this scale featuring these amazing movies, which have played and won awards at the most prestigious and famous horror film festivals around the world like FrightFest, Fantasia, Stiges and more. 

"If you love horror, you should be here."

Single day tickets start at £18 with weekend tickets available at £40 plus booking fees.
