A search has been launched to find the driver of a suspected stolen car after they fled the scene of a crash that left a person with serious injuries.
Emergency services were called to reports of a three-vehicle crash on the A1307 near Haverhill at about 5.20am on Wednesday.
A spokesman for Cambridgeshire police said one car was on its roof and the road had to be closed as a result of the crash.
The driver of the vehicle on its roof, a Ford Fiesta which was thought to have been stolen, fled the scene on foot, police said.
Officers are continuing to search for the driver of the car.
One passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries, and one driver had minor injuries.
The road reopened at about 10am, the spokesman confirmed.
Anyone with any information is being asked to contact Cambridgeshire police on 101 and quote incident number 63 of September 11.
