New luxury cat hotel to open in Creeting St Peter in Suffolk

The five star cat resort, which will be run by LJ Boulter and her husband Jon, will open up for the first time in Creeting St Peter near Stowmarket on Saturday, October 5.

Guests attending the opening will be able to enjoy cupcakes, prosecco and the opportunity to take a look around the site. 

Longcroft Creeting St Peter will have eight suites for their feline guests to enjoy while their owners are on holiday.

Every suite has its own climate controlled bedroom, leading to a private semi-outdoor play area meaning the hotel is ideally suited to both indoor and outdoor cats.

Speaking ahead of the opening Mrs Boulter said: “I discovered Longcroft when I was looking for a special service to help care for our four beloved cats when we moved back home to the UK from living overseas.

"Luckily, Daisy the owner of Longcroft Cat Hotel Orpington, had availability and came to my rescue.

"I felt so reassured that my cats were at a Longcroft Hotel – when we collected them they were beautifully groomed, happy, and relaxed and I received regular photos and updates during their stay.

"This experience really made me reevaluate my future and now I can’t wait to offer the same care and loving dedication to my very own customers. 

"I want my cat parents to feel relaxed and happy, safe in the knowledge that their beloved pets are in the best hands.

"I know how important it was to me to see my cats so happy and well cared for, and I will do the same for others.”

The couple of 28 years have always had pets and currently have six chickens, a ginger cat called Roo, a Scottish fold called Trudy and Percy the Maine Coon.

The Longcroft brand started in 2010 when Abi Purser opened the first hotel in Welwyn Garden City and now has 26 hotels including one in Bury St Edmunds.
