Suffolk is known for its picturesque countryside which can be enjoyed on walks, driving through the county and even at the pub.

1. The Packhorse Inn

The traditional pub sits in the heart of Moulton, a village in west Suffolk with a river and medieval bridge which inspired the pub's name. 

During the summer months or warmer days later in the year customers can enjoy a drink in the large garden over looking the village.

2. The Eels Foot Inn

Located in the Heritage Coast, The Eels Foot Inn can be found on the doorstep of RSPB Minsmere which is home to a variety of different wildlife.

Earlier this year the pub closed temporarily after the previous tenants suddenly announced they would cease trading.

3. The Crown

The traditional village pub is located within the Dedham Vale on the Suffolk and Essex border. 

The Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty was recently named among the best places to visit on holiday.

4. The Boot

Located in the picturesque Shotley Peninsula on the edge of Freston Wood, The Boot is a restored 17th century pub. 

The pub also has its own mini cinema which shows a range of movies and can be hired for private events.

5. Ramsholt Arms

As a south facing pub those dining outside at the Ramsholt Arms can view sunsets over the River Deben. 

Last year it was named as one of the best places to eat during summer by The Times.
