A pub near a west Suffolk town has been named among the best pubs to stay in and has been commended for its "beautiful rooms", its "dog-friendly policy" and surrounding fields.
The Three Blackbirds, in Woodditton near Newmarket, has been named in Great British Stays' monthly best pubs to stay in September.
Nestled in the elegant landscape near the iconic Newmarket Racecourse, the dog-friendly pub was commended for its beautiful surroundings and bedrooms.

Great British Stays said: "Surrounded by Suffolk fields, woodland and heathland, this dog and family-friendly pub features nine beautiful bedrooms, one of which is fully accessible."
They added: "The Three Blackbirds near Newmarket sits in rural Woodditton, a village dating back to William the Conqueror. It is a picturesque rural village, a ten-minute drive south of Newmarket, the home of horse racing."
The pub has previously won accolades for being one of the best dog-friendly pubs in the UK and for being among the best dog-friendly hotels.
