Passengers stranded on a motor boat which lost power on the east Suffolk coast were rescued by a lifeboat crew.
Just after 3pm on Tuesday, Aldeburgh RNLI was tasked by the Coastguard to assist the crew of a 21ft vessel that had lost power at the entrance to the River Ore, near Shingle Street.
Three of the passengers were stranded ashore, with the boat unable to pick them up.
The total passengers remaining aboard the vessel was unknown but believed to be up to four crew members.

The Coastguard requested the stranded passengers were taken to Orford Quay which was the nearest place of safety.
Susan Scott, the inshore lifeboat at Aldeburgh RNLI, was launched at 3.35pm and arrived on the scene at 4.05pm.
The four crew members who remained aboard the stranded motor boat were able to restart the engine and the three passengers ashore were taken back on board.
The lifeboat escorted the vessel to Slaughden Quay, in the village of Slaughden near Aldeburgh, before returning the station.
