Police are appealing for information after an 80-year-old west Suffolk woman died following a three-vehicle crash on the A14.
Emergency services were called to the westbound carriageway of the A14, between junction 37 at Newmarket and junction 38 at the A11, at about 3.10pm on Friday, August 30.
Upon arrival, police found that a yellow Fiat Panda had collided with a black Toyota Corolla which then collided with a white Mercedes Benz C220.
The driver of the Fiat Panda, an 80-year-old woman from Beck Row, near Mildenhall in west Suffolk, was taken to West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds for treatment.
She suffered serious injuries from the collision and died on Sunday, September 1.
Detective Sergeant Craig Wheeler, of Cambridgeshire police, said: “I am appealing for anyone who may have seen the collision or has dashcam footage of it, or the Fiat Panda, in the moments before the collision.”
