A former glamping site is entering a new era as it transforms into a luxury holiday home park.
The glamping site at Brome, in north Suffolk, is being replaced by Oak Lodge Park, a set of luxury holiday homes nestled between Norfolk and Suffolk.
The holiday park has announced an open day with a free barbecue on Saturday, September 21 to showcase the new homes from 10am until 4pm.
Owner Paul Razey, said: "This will be one of the most beautiful holiday parks in Suffolk because of its tree-lined, peaceful location.
"It is a holiday sanctuary which will eventually be a gated community, an oasis of calm and tranquillity. As a glamping base this location at Nick’s Lane, Brome has been highly praised by our regular visitors.
"It is a very special place to relax and unwind - and to explore all the amenities offered by Norfolk and Suffolk.
"It has been our intention to keep this plot for quality holidays and now that we have permission to develop the site into a holiday park for use for all 12 months of the year, we are looking forward to developing our vision for the ultimate holiday location in the months ahead."
Holiday homes will start from £85,000 for a high-specification, contemporary lodge. Dogs are welcome and pitch fees will include VAT, local rates and water.
The site doesn't have facilities but The Oaksmere, a hotel and restaurant, is only a two-minute drive away.
