A Suffolk market town that has a "Dickensian film set feel" has been named among the best in the UK.
Bury St Edmunds has been included in a list of the best 16 market towns in the country by the national newspaper the Daily Mail.
The Daily Mail highlighted the traditional street market, which is held on Wednesdays and Saturdays, as a real draw for the town.
The Mail said the market is a place people can spend some time at before checking out the town's restaurants.
Pea Porridge, which is Suffolk's only Michelin Star restaurant, was recommended but the town is also home to a number of other award-winning restaurants.
The Daily Mail added: "There are music gigs aplenty and various festivals, including a 'nearly festival' for tribute acts.
"There is the Theatre Royal, the UK's only remaining Regency playhouse, for entertainment or the equally adorable Abbeygate, an independent cinema dating back to the 1920s.
"The nearby Suffolk countryside is lovely, as are the charming historic villages of Lavenham and Long Melford."
