A Suffolk family charity is celebrating a £1,000 donation from Benefact Group’s Movement for Good Awards.

The charity, Dora Brown, uses volunteers to transform crisis-stricken homes, providing families with essential items and cleaning services.

The funding will go directly towards supporting project management, waste disposal, cleaning kits, and volunteer checks for one family.

Jo Revett, director of Ipswich-based Dora Brown, thanked supporters, saying: “We are delighted to receive £1,000 from Benefact Group’s Movement for Good Awards.
