A man has died after a crash on the A14 involving a pedestrian.
Police were called to the A14 between Newmarket in Suffolk and Stow cum Quy in Cambridgeshire at about 12.30pm on Monday.
Officers and paramedics attended the incident and a man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokeswoman for Cambridgeshire police said there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances in the death and a file will be prepared for the coroner in due course.
The A14 was closed in both directions for a number of hours while emergency services attended the incident.
The road fully reopened at about 6pm on Monday.
