The A14 was closed in both directions near a west Suffolk town due to a police incident.
Police were called to the A14 near Newmarket at about 12.30pm on Monday following an incident.

A spokesman for National Highways confirmed the road was closed between junction 36 in Newmarket and junction 35 in Stow Cum Quy.
Cambridgeshire police were at the scene and drivers were advised to avoid the area.
National Highways have now confirmed that the road has been reopened and police have completed their investigation.
