One of the UK's best food and drink festivals is returning at the end of the month.

The Aldeburgh Food and Drink Festival is taking place on Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29.

Here is everything you need to know about the two-day event.

How do I get to the festival?

The event is taking place at Snape Maltings and drivers should use the postcode IP17 1SP for sat nav directions and follow AA parking signs as they near the event.

Parking at the event is free with disabled parking available by the entrance gate.

Cyclists and walkers will have a bespoke entrance by the South Arch.

For this year's event there will be no shuttle service running between Aldeburgh and the festival ground due to high costs and low demand.

Are tickets available on the day?

There will be tickets available on the day subject to availability.

It is advised to buy tickets in advance online from aldeburghfoodanddrink.co.uk.

Day tickets for adults cost £15 while children aged 16 and under go free.

Amendments to tickets can be made by contacting the Snape Maltings Box Office.

What will there be at the festival?

The opening hours are 9.30am until 5pm on Saturday and 9.30am until 4pm on Sunday.

There will be more than 130 stalls serving local produce from the county as well as live demonstrations from chefs invited to attend the festival

Can I bring my dog?

The event organisers recommend leaving dogs at home as the event can become loud and crowded which can lead to anxious animals.

If owners have to bring their dogs, they must be kept on short leads and cannot enter any shops or marquees.

Other additional features include water bottle refill stations on the quay next to the craft shop.
