A Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service crew has returned to base after three months of works were being carried out on the station.
Elmswell Fire Station announced on social media that it had returned to its station after works to improve the drill yard and replace the drains underneath it.
The fire crew temporarily operated out of Goldstar Transport in Woolpit and moved around other fire stations for drills, including Stowmarket and Bury St Edmunds.
The station reassured the public that the move would not effect emergency response times and that crews have attended several large fires in the area in the last three months.
