An area of Suffolk has been named among the best places for an end-of-summer getaway.
The Telegraph published a list of the top 30 places to visit as August ends and September begins, including a range of coastal and countryside towns and villages.
Dedham Vale was one of the destinations included in the list and was noted for its "wildflower meadows, riverside mills and dainty villages".
The Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that follows the Suffolk and Essex border has often been considered a picturesque area and was been named an underrated spot for beauty by The Times.

Those with an interest in art history would enjoy a visit to Flatford, the birth place of painter John Constable and see the inspiration behind some of his most famous pieces of work such as Willy Lott's House near the River Stour.
Nearby Munnings Art Museum also showcases the celebrated works of Sir Alfred Munnings inside his former home and studio in Dedham.

Arger Fen and Spouse's Vale near Bures has 110 hectares of ancient woodland to explore and is home to rare species like the scarce hazel dormouse and barbastelle bats.
Keen adventures may want to follow the 60-mile Stour Valley Path which runs from Cattawade in south Suffolk to Newmarket in west Suffolk.
It can take up to a week to walk the full route which passes through pleasing and peaceful woodland, meadows and riverside with plenty of B&Bs and hotels to stay at along the journey.
