An antiques shop owner was left stunned after witnessing water shoot up into the air in a Suffolk village.
Tony Howe was dropping off items to his wife at the Martin and Howe Antiques Shop in Peasenhall on Saturday afternoon.
He estimates the water shot up roughly 10 metres into the air from the water main at around 3.30pm on the main road heading to Yoxford.
Mr Howe said: "It was higher than the houses. I didn't realise the water pressure in the pipes could be so powerful.
"The village became Geasenhall. It was like Yellowstone Park.
"I couldn't believe it, it was amazing."
Work has been taking place in the area.
Mr Howe also described seeing the main road becoming completely soaked by the water.
