Five lucky residents have scooped more than £300,000 in the People's Postcode Millions draw. 

363 residents living in the IP12 1 postcode in Woodbridge shared August's bumper prize of £3.2million.

Five people who live in the IP12 1JP postcode landed the biggest cheques with each ticket worth £320,000. 

The remaining players in the area received prizes ranging from £4,020 to £16,080 depending on how many tickets they played with. 

People's Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson said: "It's a glorious summer's day and hundreds of people have one thousands of pounds each. It's a day that will live long in the memory. 

"Congratulations to all the winners. I am sure they will have plenty of fun spending the money."

The money raised by Postcode Lottery players is used to support local charities and good causes. 

Last year Suffolk-based charity ActivLives received £24,995 in funding to help the charity keep people active by providing accessible sports. 

The People's Postcode Lottery winners for August will be announced on Monday, September 2.
