More than 30 antiques traders from across the region are set to take part in an autumn fair in Mid Suffolk.
The new Autumn Antiques, Vintage, Retro & Collectables Fair will take place at Stonham Barns Park, near Stowmarket, in October 19. It follows on from a successful spring fair held in March.
It is being run by Alf and Wendy Faulkner, Alan Knights and Henrietta Lewis - owners of Aspal Antiques, Aspal Emporium and Aspal Reclamation.
"We will be offering a variety of sustainable pieces for the home including retro and vintage furniture, Art Deco pieces, architectural salvage for the home and garden, statuary, vintage terracotta pots, ancient topiary and so much more," said Henrietta.
"You will be able to find many decorative items for the home at the new show, without costing too much and without leaving the carbon footprint that new furniture leaves."
Interest in antiques is rising, and the changing of the seasons often prompts householders to take a new look at their home interiors or garden spaces, she said.
Aspal Antiques has recently expanded in response to rising demand. Collectable militaria or Victorian items are among the draws.
As well as selling their own stock, the four owners also offer antiques collectors and traders the change to rent cabinet space from them for a monthly fee.
These features in one central space. There is also a reclamation yard outside.
"People really taken to antiques again for many reasons. People love to browse and find treasure," said Henrietta.
"It’s all about what makes you happy. Whether it’s china, furniture, pictures or mirrors, there’s something of interest for everyone.
"We like to think of our business as an antiques hub for people who are interested in an eclectic mix of pieces. This second fair will hopefully showcase everything we are doing here in Suffolk."
