The A12 was closed after two cars crashed near the B1119 junction.
Two cars collided near Rendham Road, just off the A12 at Saxmundham, Halesworth police reported on Thursday evening.
The force urged people to avoid the area while recovery was in progress.
Suffolk police said no one was seriously injured, just "one person in shock".
The road has since reopened.

Please be aware that Emergency Services are currently dealing with an incident on the #A12 nr to B1119 Junction (Rendham Road) it is likely that there will be a full road closure at this time , please avoid the area. Ref 285
