Elderly people living at a care home received a surprise visit this week from a group of alpacas.
Residents at Magdalen House care home in Hadleigh welcomed the furry visitors on Tuesday as part of an animal therapy session.
The group made the trip from Hilly Ridge Alpacas in Wattisham and proved to be a popular addition.
Jo Bridge, of Hill Ridge, described the day as "lovely" and that the reaction is "fantastic".
"I always just say it is priceless," she said. "It is lovely.
"The reaction we get is just fantastic. The smile on their faces is worth a million pounds.
"For us, we come back and it sticks with you for days. It is just a good experience."
Alpaca's provide emotional support for the residents as their calming presence helps to soothe anxiety and promote relaxation.
In addition, the animals provide a sensual reaction as people are able to engage with their soft and fluffy coats.
Residents at the home were not the only ones who got to enjoy the experience.
A spokesman for the home, which is run by Allegra Care, said: "Our event was enjoyed by the whole community including our regular Nippers and Slippers play group, mums and dads, children, grandparents, doctors & nurses from our local surgery and many more.
"Overall, alpaca pet therapy has proven to be a valuable addition to our care homes. These gentle creatures offer emotional and physical support, as well as a sense of purpose and fulfilment to our lovely residents."
