Road closures will be in place as part of investigations into the Sizewell C rail network.
Wilford Bridge road in Melton, near Woodbridge, is set to close at the Melton Station level crossing for a day as of Wednesday, August 28.
Drivers will face a 20 minute diversion through Eyke, Tunstall and then the A12 to avoid the crossing.
The road is expected to reopen on Thursday, August 29.
