A major fire broke out at a derelict building close to the A1152 in east Suffolk.
The blaze started at a site near Rendlesham just before 4pm on Friday.
Eleven engines from Ipswich East, Woodbridge, Framlingham, Orford, Aldeburgh, Leiston, Saxmundham, Beccles and Haverhill attended.
The Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service urged locals to keep their doors and windows closed.
Crews stayed on scene until they received their stop message just before 8pm.
