A Suffolk bakery is in the running to be named the best in England after being announced as a finalist for a national food award.
The Food Awards England will take place on October 7 to showcase the talent and dedication from restaurants and other eateries across England.
The finalists were announced earlier this week with The Friendly Loaf in Nowton, near Bury St Edmunds, was shortlisted for Artisan Bakery of the Year.
The bakery specialises in slow-proved breads, sourdough, patisseries and more using high-quality flour and ingredients.

Last year the bake was a double winner at the Food England Awards - winning Bakery of the Year and a highly commended accolade.
The Friendly Loaf sells freshy made breads and other baked goods and is open from 8am until 3.30pm on Tuesday to Sunday.
A spokesman for the Food Awards England said: "It's exciting for us to once again shine a spotlight on the top establishments and businesses that have managed to stand out in such a busy food scene.
"We would like to congratulate all of our finalists and wish them the best of luck."
