A man has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Aldeburgh just after 1pm Thursday.
The High Street was closed while a man received treatment following the crash.
Police were called just after 1pm on Thursday to reports of a crash between a pedestrian and a car.
A spokesperson for Suffolk Police said at the time of the incident: "The road is closed both ways while police on scene wait for an ambulance to arrive.
"The man is conscious and breathing, however injuries cannot be assessed until the ambulance gets there."
A spokesperson for East of England Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 1.07pm with reports of a collision in Aldeburgh."
"We sent one ambulance and took a man to Ipswich Hospital for further care."
The road is now clear.
