The East Anglian Daily Times has opened a new office in the heart of Ipswich.
Your team of Suffolk reporters and editors has been working from their homes across the county now for the past 18 months so we are delighted that we will now have our own office in the town centre which will be opening soon.
Yesterday, editor Liz Nice, and our senior management team held their first meeting there.
A celebratory breakfast, kindly provided by Honey and Harvey, was pronounced delicious.
The team are now just awaiting their Wifi connection to be sorted before they are able to move in full time.
The office is at Hyde Park House in Crown Street, Ipswich, and you will start to notice our signs going up there over the next few days and weeks.
Liz said: "It's not always been easy running the team from home so I am so pleased that we now finally have an Ipswich base again. No more trying to have meetings while people have 'frozen' on screen. Our new premises are lovely and right in the heart of things - where we always endeavour to be."
