Drivers will face delays of up to 30 minutes while a four day road closure is in place.
Saxmundham Road, in Framlingham, is scheduled to shut from 7pm on Tuesday, August 27, until 5am on Saturday, August 31.
The road is being closed by Suffolk County Council for carriageway resurfacing and maintenance works.
An 18-mile diversion is in place throughout the works, taking drivers out of Framlingham up the B1120 to Badingham, round the A1120 to Yoxford and down the A12.
Drivers can expect the diversion to take around 28 minutes and should plan their routes accordingly.
