Police have issued an appeal after children were told to "come here" by an unknown male in Hadleigh.
The incident happened at around 4pm on Tuesday along a popular walking route.
Officers received a report about a male worrying children and said the voice was heard by children on or close to the railway walk.
The circular route is two miles long and follows the disused railway line that once linked Hadleigh with London.
Police are requesting that anyone with information about the issue, contacts Suffolk Police and quote SC-20082024-249, PC 1293 Johnson.
