Police have issued a warning to remain vigilant following a spate of rural burglaries in a Suffolk village.
At around 1pm on Monday, August 19, two unknown male intruders forced open a front door to a home in Malting End, Wickhambrook, a village between Haverhill and Newmarket.
The homeowner's dog scared off the intruders who took nothing from the property.
They drove off in a white Ford Fiesta car.

In a second incident, a property and office nearby were broken into when an unknown intruder or intruders forced a front door to gain entry into a home.
An untidy search of the property was conducted and jewellery was stolen.
A window of the office was damaged but nothing was stolen.
Anyone who lives and the nearby area who saw any suspicious activity or anyone with security cameras that may have captures images that will aid in the investigation should contact Suffolk police quoting crime reference numbers 37/47131/24 for the first incident and 37/47176/24 for the second burglary.
