Police have arrested a male following the recovery of a weapon in a Suffolk town.
In the early hours of Sunday, August 18, a member of the public reported witnessing someone in possession of a large blade in Hadleigh.
Police conducted searches and recovered a weapon in the afternoon of Monday, August 19.
A male was also located and arrested in connection with the incident.

The incident in Hadleigh followed other similar offences reported in other Suffolk town this month.
Three teenagers were arrested in Felixstowe following reports from the public saying they had seen a young man with a knife in the area of Undercliff Road East.
Armed police were also spotted in Ipswich on Monday and arrested a man on suspicion of possessing a bladed article.
