Tucked along the River Deben, this walk seems arduous - but it is largely accessible and rewards walkers with great views of east Suffolk

Kyson Point, near Woodbridge, is often overlooked when visiting the area.

A short wander to the boating lake and Kingston Meadow seems perfect for a stroll, but just a little further is Kyson Hill and Kyson Point, offering views of the saltmarshes.

Starting at Woodbridge railway station, where you may or may not start with a coffee from the Whistlestop Cafe, head to the footbridge across to the quay.

As you get further along the walk, the River Deben estuary opens up in front of you, winding down to the sea.

Eventually you will end up back in the train station car park.
