Contentious plans to retain flag poles advertising a new build development have been objected to by a parish council.
Hills Residential is currently building homes on land to the east of Heath Road in East Bergholt.
The developer has lodged plans with Babergh District Council to keep its flag poles and marketing signage on the development.
An application form said the 5.5 metre signage is already in place.

However, concerns that they do not fit in to the rural landscape have been raised.
East Bergholt Parish Council has objected to the proposals, describing the signage as "unnecessary paraphernalia".
An objection notice said: "The application seeks to introduce unnecessary paraphernalia which is alien to rural location.
"The number of advertising items is excessive and overcrowds the site."
Hills Residential was given the go-ahead to build up to 75 homes in 2020.
Plans for a two-phase development on the land are currently awaiting a decision from Babergh District Council.
The application is expected to be determined by Tuesday, September 17.
