Smoke was sent billowing into the sky following a huge fire at a scrapyard in west Suffolk.
Thick clouds of smoke could be seen around the area after a blaze broke out at Scrapco in The Carrops, Red Lodge.
Fire engines from across Suffolk were alerted to the fire, near Mildenhall, at about 5.40pm on Friday.
Video footage from Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service showed smoke quickly rising into the sky as firefighters attempted to put out the flames.
In an update on Saturday morning, a spokesman for the authority said crews remain at the scene dampening down.
A spokesman for Scrapco said the site would not be open on Saturday due to the blaze.
It is unclear how the fire started.
The fire in Red Lodge is the second scrapyard blaze to be tackled by Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service in August.
About 80 firefighters were sent to Sackers Recycling Centre in Great Blakenham, near Ipswich, on August 8 after a fire broke out in a pile of scrap metal.
An investigation established the fire was most likely started by a battery.
