A housing development of 115 homes in a mid Suffolk village has sold out.
David Wilson homes launched the project in March 2021 and the developer has now delivered the collection of two to five-bedroom homes at Abbots Green in Woolpit.
As part of its investment in the area, the developer contributed about £1.2million through the planning agreement to Mid Suffolk District Council.
One significant aspect of this investment is the transfer of land to the council, facilitating the delivery of additional car parking for the Woolpit Health Centre.
Additionally, a new and widened footway and cycle track have been constructed to link Abbots Green to the bus stops and the village centre, enhancing accessibility for residents.
David Wilson Homes has also donated gardening sets and sunflower seeds to Woolpit Arc Childcare Centre and given a £250 donation towards the centre’s maintenance.
Sales director at David Wilson Homes Eastern Counties, Will Phair, said: “We are incredibly proud of the success of Abbots Green.
“This achievement underscores our commitment to delivering exceptional homes and enhancing local communities."
