An estate in Bury St Edmunds has received a nod from the National Trust for one of the best places to go cycling.
Ickworth Estate, near Bury St Edmunds, has been named as one of the best places to go cycling by the National Trust.
In a list of 19 locations, including the Blickling Estate in Norfolk, Ickworth Estate was named at number nine for being the best place to go cycling.
The estate features the Rotunda, the museum-accredited centrepiece of Ickworth Estate. The museum features a renowned art and silver collection.
Set in 1,800 acres of land, the Italianate style gardens surround the Rotunda.
You can hire bikes from the estate:
Adult/child bikes: £6 for two hours or £12 all day
Balance bikes: £3
Trailers: £6 for two hours or £12 all day
Dog trailer: £6 for two hours or £12 all day
Electric 'e' bikes: £14 for two hours and £7 for an additional hour.
Opening Times:
Throughout spring and the summer: March 1 - September 2
Thursday to Sunday 10am - 4pm (last hire at 2pm).
Through the school holidays the hire shed is open every day (except Christmas).
