A criminal investigation into the death of a stabbing victim is still ongoing, his inquest was told.
Karl Skoulding, 43, died in Bury St Edmunds in April 2022.
Police were called to Harland Court, off Station Hill, at around 3pm on April 26, 2022, following reports of a fatal stabbing.
Officers attended the scene and located Mr Skoulding and a woman within one of the flats. They had both sustained stab wounds.
The woman was taken to hospital, where she remained for several weeks before being discharged. Mr Skoulding died at the scene.
At a hearing into Mr Skoulding's death on Friday, Suffolk Coroners Court was told a criminal investigation into the 43-year-old’s death is still ongoing.
Senior Coroner for Suffolk Nigel Parsley suspended the inquest proceedings until January 29, when a pre-inquest review is expected to take place.
