Plans for a new dog grooming salon on the Shotley peninsula have been given the green light.
Babergh District Council received proposals to build a dog grooming business on land of a home in Stutton Lane in Tattingstone.
Outbuildings currently on the land would be demolished and replaced with the new salon.
The applicant would be the only employee of the business.
Approving the plans, an officer's delegated report said: "The proposal is deemed acceptable in terms of design, layout, siting, form and scale and does not give rise to any demonstrable adverse impact to the character of the locality and the existing dwelling."
Two spaces will be provided for the new site.
The delegated report adds the proposal would not have a "severe" impact on the highway network.
It said: "Following consultation with the Highways Authority, the proposal would not severely affect the highway network and the safety of its users and is therefore acceptable.
"This is subject to conditions to control the manoeuvring and parking of vehicles as well as ensuring that only one dog is groomed at a time."
