A man was left with a neck injury after he was involved in a hit-and-run crash in a west Suffolk town.
Police were called to Ehringhausen Way in Haverhill by the ambulance service at about 12am on Tuesday, August 13 to reports of a pedestrian being involved in a collision with a car.
Upon arrival, paramedics found that a man had suffered an injury to his neck after he was reportedly hit by a car.
The man was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge for further care.

The incident is believed to have taken place between 11.15pm and 11.30pm on Monday, August 12.
The man has now been discharged from hospital and is recovering at home.

Police say the car did not stop and so they are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone who was driving in the area with a dashcam in their vehicle to check the footage for anything that may be of assistance.
