Years of hard work and commitment has paved the way for celebrations for many A level students in the county.
A number of schools across Suffolk reported a plethora of top grades, with many matching or succeeding the national average.
Students at Woodbridge School achieved outstanding results, with 16% of results being A*, 44% being A*-A, 66% A*-B and 98% A*-E.
This year, the school is celebrating a record number of students achieving straight A*-A grades, with grade A being the most popular grade amongst students.
Shona Norman, head of school, said: "I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our students upon their excellent A level results; their achievements are testament to the hard work and dedication shown throughout their time with us at School."
At Stowupland High School, 64 students undertook A Levels. Amongst these were twins Tommy and Elsie Chapple, 18.
Tommy said he is one step closer to achieving his childhood ambition of being a lawyer after achieving ABC. He is off to either Manchester or UEA to study law.
He said: “Since Year 7 I have wanted to go into law at university and to take the bar exam.
“I’ve wanted to do it since I was very young, and this will help me towards reaching my goal.
“It has been a nervous summer waiting for results, so today is a relief."
Elle Cracknell shared she felt emotional as she discovered she had earned double distinction in Health and Social Care and an A in biology. She plans to study human biology at Loughborough University.
She added: “I am feeling really good, relieved and happy with myself.
“I worked so hard, incredibly hard, so today really feels like that hard work has paid off."

Nearly three quarters of students at Thomas Mills High School in Framlingham achieved grades A*-C.
20% achieved at least A grades in all of their subjects.
Among those was Jamie Bennett, who has secured a place at Manchester University after achieving A* A* A in mathematics, further mathematics and physics.
He said: “I’m very happy with my results. I didn’t expect to get that. I’m really looking forward to going to Manchester and meeting new people.”
Fellow student, Max Stace earned A B B and will now go on to study physics at Lancaster.
He said: “I’m happy with my results. They’re what I needed to get into university so I’m happy and I’m looking forward to my course.”
Also in Framlingham, students at the college have been praised for their commitment and hard work throughout the year.
25% of grades were achieved at A*/A grades or equivalent, an increase on last year's performance across the highest grades, with 12% of pupils gaining straight A*/A grades.
44% of the cohort scored at least one A*/A, 50% of grades were achieved at A*-B and over 75% of grades A*-C.
Principal Louise North said: "This year’s results present a positive uptick in the number of top A Level and BTEC grades.
"There are some real triumphs for so many of our high achieving pupils who will take places at universities including Leeds, Bristol, Durham and Cambridge."

At Farlingaye High School, 20% secured A*/A grades, with 51% of students achieving grades A*-B and 73% achieving A*-C.
18 students achieved a full flush of A*/A grades.
At the start of the year, these students also had to negotiate the "significant challenge the school faced with RAAC".
At Felixstowe School, Jack Flynn will go on to study physics in Durham after achieving A*A*A*, Eszter Brinton will read chemistry at Warwick after achieving A*A*A and Betty Ransom who is also off to Warwick having achieved A*ABB.
Royal Hospital School in Holbrook, near Ipswich, achieved similar results, with 40% of all grades being A*/A.
25% of pupils achieved AAA or higher and 92% of those applying through UCAS secured a place at their chosen university.
Simon Lockyer, headmaster, said: "We are incredibly proud of our pupils' outstanding achievements in this year's examinations as they achieved the best results on record at the A* to B grade."
At Ipswich High School, 40% of all grades achieved were A*-A, with one in five grades being an A*.
At Sir John Leman High School in Beccles, headteacher Sarah Hartshorn said: "I am very proud of all our sixth form students, who have worked tirelessly.
"They have shown great resilience and determination, which has enabled many of them to secure places on a vast range of university courses.
"I wish them all the very best in their chosen pathways."
Ipswich School's outgoing headmaster Nicholas Weaver said this year's results were the schools "best ever exam results" in his 14 years at the school with 84% of exams graded A*-B.
Two students from St Joseph's College in Ipswich are on their way to Oxbridge after achieving high grades.
