Two students from a school in Ipswich are celebrating after achieving the A-Level results needed to go and study at two of the country's most prestigious universities in September.
Alexandra 'Leixie' Pryke's three A*s in biology, chemistry and mathematics will take her to Corpus Christi College Cambridge to study medicine.
Lexie, who also captained St Jo's U18 women footballers to the national title, will begin her studies in September.

Tanaquil Lu, an award-winning public speaker and debater during her years at the college based in Belstead Road, achieved A*s in English Literature and her extended project qualification (EPQ).
She also received A's in history and ancient Greek.
She will be heading to St John's College in Oxford where she will study classics.
At the school, two-thirds of students achieved at least one A*/A grade or equivalent.

Almost half of the students at St Joseph's College achieved two or more A*/A grades or equivalent.

"The happiness of students – and their families – when the results come in and future destinations are secured, cannot be overstated. We have loved having these diligent and delightful young people at St Jo’s and wish them all the best in the exciting years ahead.
"Today’s results reinforce that pride in our wonderful students and staff."
The school also saw an impressive array of marks amongst its BTEC students.
Six of the eight students on the Triple BTEC Sport and Exercise Science course attained the maximum D*D*D* grade, and all 21 on the Double BTEC Sport and Exercise Science course attained the maximum double D*.
