A town council working group has been set up after concerns were raised over the future of a derelict factory site.
Sudbury Town Council have agreed on six members to join a Delphi Working Group where they will meet to discuss the site, which has been subject of several calls for action since a fire took hold there in May.
During an extraordinary meeting on Tuesday, August 6, the six members were chosen.
Mayor Alison Owen will be chair alongside Cllrs Peter Beer, Nigel Bennett, Adrian Stohr, Ellen Murphy and Adrian Osborne.
Members agreed the group will meet on dates agreed between the chair and the town clerk and will "discuss future options for the Delphi site and make recommendations to the full council."
Fire crews from all over the county were called to the blaze at the former Delphi site in Newton Road at about 5.10pm on Tuesday, May 28.
The following day a police spokesperson confirmed a teenage boy had been arrested on suspicion of arson.
He was later bailed and re-bailed twice, and is set to return to police on August 27.
