Police have arrested three teenagers after receiving reports from the public saying they had seen a young man in possession of a knife.
Officers received the reports at about 5.50pm on Monday (August 12) in Felixstowe.
When officers attended Undercliff Road East three young men were said to have all run off.
They were later detained in Wolsey Gardens where police found two large knives.
A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and possession with intent to supply drugs other than Class A and taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
He was later released on bail to return to police on November 9.
Officers also arrested a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.
After being questioned at Martlesham Police Investigation Centre he was released on bail to return on November 3.
A third person, a 17-year-old boy, was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class B or C drugs and taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre.
He was also bailed to return to police on August 24.
