The air ambulance was been called to a serious crash which closed part of the A14.
Emergency services were called to the eastbound carriageway at Barrow near Bury St Edmunds at about 11.40am on Sunday.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said two vehicles were involved.
The eastbound carriageway was closed while emergency services attend.
The extent of any injuries is not yet known but according to the AA Traffic Map there were delays in the area.
