The opening date for a new McDonald's on the outskirts of a Suffolk town has been confirmed.
McDonald's has announced that its new restaurant at Suffolk Business Park, next to the A14, will open on October 2.
Plans for the new unit were approved by West Suffolk Council in March 2023 after being initially submitted to the council in March 2022.
A spokesman for McDonald's confirmed that the site is expected to open on October 2.
As well as the drive-thru McDonald's, a new Costa Coffee shop is also expected to open but an opening date is yet to be confirmed.
The new stores were given the go ahead despite Rougham Parish Council lodging an objection to the plans, saying it would increase traffic volumes and associated road noise close to a residential area.
