An historic ghost spot in Felixstowe is putting on a spooky event for daring visitors this weekend.

If ghosts are your thing, you can attend a spooky walkthrough at Landguard Fort in Felixstowe.

On Saturday, August 10, from 7.45pm until 1.30am, guests will be guided through the fort, using ghost hunting equipment and taking part in activities.

Ouija boards, table tipping and glass moving vigils will be happening in the "most active" areas of the fort, with an opportunity for a free hour to explore the haunted fort on your own.

Ghost Hunt UK said: "One of the fort’s shop staff got the shock of their life, when a ghostly figure of an Artilleryman walked out of the shop’s wall, smiled at them and then turned around and disappeared back into the solid wall."

It is believed that the figure of the English soldier has been seen patrolling the Kings Bastion by soldiers who were stationed at the fort during the Second World War.
