An unfinished housing development which has been described as an "eyesore" by a Suffolk parish councillor has been put up for sale.
The Friars View development in Church Field, Monks Eleigh, was first given the go-ahead by Babergh District Council in 2019.
LW&P (Monks Eleigh) Limited's outline plans sought to construct 17 homes on the site of the former Monks Eleigh Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School.
The company has since gone into administration, according to Companies House.
A progress report from April 2024 said the company had completed a building project at the former school site.
It adds: "Whilst development had been completed, there were a number of issues with the project with various rectification works required."
Alan Branthwaite, chairman of Monks Eleigh Parish Council, described the development as an "eyesore".
"It is an eyesore and a monumental waste," he said.
"The village was keen and prepared to have the extra houses. It has just hung around for too long."

Prior to the application being submitted, Monks Eleigh Parish Council supported the scheme but sought clarification on a footpath which ran from the estate.
It is understood that there is nobody currently living in any of the 17 homes, with the development fenced off in order to prevent access.
The land and associated development is up for sale - price on application - with London-based commercial estate agent Lambert Smith and Hampton.
Listing the property, it states: "Remedial works required to bring the dwellings up to their completed standard."
A spokeswoman for Babergh District Council said: "We are not involved in the delivery of this development but, like everyone else in the village, we would like to see any issues resolved and the homes brought into use as soon as possible.”
Monks Eleigh Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School closed in 2014.
