Drivers have been warned of delays ahead of planned lane closures on the Orwell Bridge.
National Highways have confirmed that from Monday, August 12, to Friday, August 15, parts of the A14 on the bridge will close from 9pm to 5am.

National Highways say that these closures will be in place to allow them to carry out drainage works and to jet and clean the gullies.
A spokesman for the organisation confirmed that on Monday, August 12 and Tuesday, August 13, a lane on the eastbound carriageway will be closed.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, August 14, there will be lane closures both ways, and on Thursday, August 15 and Friday, August 16 there will again be a lane closure on the eastbound carriageway.
Drivers have been warned of delays and advised to find alternative routes.
