Drivers were facing delays on the A14 this afternoon.
Police were called to a car towing a caravan that jack knifed in the westbound carriageway near Kentford at about 11am on Wednesday.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said the car was in lane one and the caravan was in lane two.
There were long delays in the area.
It comes after drivers were stuck in standstill traffic following a two-vehicle crash in the westbound carriageway near Bury St Edmunds.
Emergency services were called to the crash at about 10am.
No serious injuries were reported, Suffolk police confirmed.
Delays are continuing into the afternoon.
