McDonald's is set to open a new restaurant in a Suffolk town today.
The fast-food chain will open its newest eatery in the county in Haverhill on Wednesday.
It was originally expected to open on Wednesday, June 26 - however, the opening had to be pushed back by a month.
Plans for the fast-food chain to open a new restaurant in Haverhill were given the go-ahead back in July last year.
The restaurant will be a drive-thru and be able to seat 118 guests.
Speaking previously, Aaron Luccarini, who represents Haverhill Central on West Suffolk Council, said: "I am pleased to welcome McDonald's to Haverhill. It will bring with it much-needed employment opportunities.
"I am also pleased to have a restaurant servicing the town's bypass, as in that area there is currently a lack of facilities.
"The restaurant chain has tried multiple times to open in Haverhill, and this time I feel they’ve found the right site."
